With so many fillers on the market it can be tough to know which might be a good fit for you, and more importantly, whether you’d make a good candidate for each.

With so many small, but important, differences between them, knowing which filler – or a combination of them – is right for you can be daunting.

Some people assume Botox® is an all-encompassing wrinkle reducing filler than should be used all over the face.

At TruDerm we use both Botox® and Dysport, which are largely considered to be interchangeable.

Like Botox®, Restylane and Juvederm are both fillers that will treat and smooth wrinkles and folds that are caused by gravity and loss of volume.

Unlike Botox®, neither will prevent wrinkles and in general, both products are excellent fillers for lips and wrinkles in the lower half of the face.
